The “Proof of Concept” phase of the Folsom Dam Raise Project has begun

After months of engineering and preparation, the “Proof of Concept” phase of the Folsom Dam Raise Project has begun. Working from a 50-foot-tall scaffold system situated on suspended platform 230 feet above the bottom of the dam, our team must prove the gate retrofit can be completed on time and with the highest quality. Only then can we begin the retrofit of the remaining gates.
